Viola Faith Clark, 105, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2017 in Providence, Rhode Island. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island on December 16, 1911, a daughter of the late Salodius Hicks and Louise Mariah Holden. She was the widow of the late John Clark.
Viola is survived by her sister Charity L. Silvia, grandson Shayne L. Jordan, granddaughters Denise Proffit, Keyra M. Jordan, and many others. She also leaves many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two of her children, Louane C. Jordan and George “Bussy” Proffit, and grandson Gilbert Jordan.
