I will always remember Eva, especially when I see a butterfly. Eva worked at Central High School and was loved and appreciated by many. She brightened up my classroom with her beautiful smile and art. Eva was always very attentive to my students' needs and would assist them in any way she could. She became a counselor to many and even helped a student needing help to connect to her community after school hours. Eva was and will always be a part of our community. I will miss you dearly Eva Mariposa! Rest in Paradise!

My deepest sympathy to the family of Ms. Jimenez. It was a pleasure to work with her at Mt. Pleasant High School. She was always a kind, pleasant and positive person who was filled with enthusiasm and creativity. She will be greatly missed!!!

Mi más sinceras condolencias a la familia Jiménez. Conocí a Eva cuando estudiábamos juntos en Genesis Center y muchas veces compartió con nosotros la misa en la comunidad de la Asunción. Eva fue un excelente ser humano llena de talento y carisma. Paz e su tumba. Ofrezco mis oraciones por ella y su familia.

I am so sorry to hear of Eva's passing. Eva was a wonderful person, and a fantastic artist, whose presence in my art room at Mount Pleasant High School was always welcome. She would work on her own artwork, while assisting any students who needed help, and her beautiful work was an inspiration to us all. I will miss her dearly, as will all of the Providence students to whom she so gladly offered gentle guidance.

I was very sorry to hear about Evangelista's passing. I knew her when she came in to my Library at Mount Pleasant HS with her class. She was a lovely lady who will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to your family.

My deepest condolences to the entire Jimenez family Mom and Dad , brothers , sisters ,Aunts and uncles and cousins .What a beautiful person Eva was , inside and out. She will be greatly missed .She had accomplished so very much when she moved out to RI .I am very happy that God had blessed my sons and I with her presence . May she sleep with the angels now and reunite with her two brothers who were taken so early .May God wrap his arms around the Jimenez family and help everyone through this time .Rest in Peace Eva .
