Life and Legacy of William Allen Hazard
William (Billy) Allen Hazard, 79, of Providence Rhode Island passed away peacefully on March 21, 2023.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Frederick A. Hazard and the late Allegra Perry Hazard.
William leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife Jeannette P. Hazard of Providence Rhode Island; four Daughters, Dawn A. Perry and Andrea B. Armelin of Providence, Rhode Island, Kaesha M. Hazard of Pensacola, Florida and the late Joye B. Hazard of Providence, Rhode Island; two sons, the late Brett A. Hazard and William A. Hazard Jr. of Providence, Rhode Island.
He was the brother of Steven, Allegra, Lavonne, Edna Hazard and the late Frederick Hazard Jr., Deborah Pierce and Denise Perry.
He leaves three granddaughters Shlonda Davis, Nichole Ferreira and Denashia Cochran and five grandsons Brett Ferreira, Jordan Hazard-Bliss, David Perry, Jonathan Hazard-Nettles III and Sire Hazard. He also leaves great grandson Jermaine Brett Jones and two great granddaughters, Amani Jones and Oshin Perry.
William was employed by ExxonMobil Oil Corporation East Providence in Marine and Terminal Operations. His loyalty and dedication were the foundation to Exxon Mobil Oil. He worked hard for so many years and retired in 2003.
William always embraced golf, Tiger Wood “A man’s good name is as precious to him as its skin is to a tiger and Star Trek “Where no man has gone before” and we all know Billy touched all of us beyond measure and he will be truly missed.
