Wendy Burrell

Wendy K.Burrell (Jones) 61 of Providence,Rhode Island passed away on January 16, 2022 at hospice care. She was the wife of Leonard Burrell Senior for 22 years. Born in Providence Rhode Island. She was the daughter of the late Woodrow Jones and Mason (Sowell) Pope. She graduated from the Sawyer school in the mid 90s dedicating a short period of service in the medical field and then later transitioning providing service for many years in the Providence school system. A devout Christian she was very active in the church, and a part of many prayer groups. She loved the Lord and made it her personal responsibility to seek his face daily.  In addition she is survived by her children; Leonard (Lenny) Ramon Burrell jr, Allen Diamond Burrell, Temperance Candace Burrell,and  Shekinah (Moosh) Grace Burrell. All of Providence, Rhode Island. She is the youngest girl of 13; she leaves her surviving siblings Riley Pope, Gloria Snell Bailey,Marcella Pope, Joseph Correria, Linwood Jones, and Daniel Jones all of Providence, Rhode Island. She was proceeded in death by her siblings; Modena Graham, Walter Pope, Howard pope, Donald Pope, Moveena Pope and Vence(Vincent) Pope. She leaves 10 grandchildren (Late) Naylen Burrell, Leonard Burrell III, Isaac Burrell, Isaiah Burrell, Thalia Burrell, Thalissa Burrell, Jayden Burrell, Zen Burrell, Zhi Burrell, And Tajrielle Jackson. She also leaves A host of nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
