Voncile O. Harris, 77, of Broad St., died peacefully at home on September 4, 2024.

Born in Pickens County, Alabama, she was the daughter of late Rosie Lee Harris and Robert Davis and the sister of the late Velma Harris, Frankie D. Barnes, and Frankie Lee Barnes. She is survived by her sisters Vanessa Barnes and Fannie Barnes Butler (Andrew Butler), Erma Jean Johnson and her brother Clifford V. Barnes. She was the aunt of many nieces and nephews and had a host of cousins.

She leaves her son Raymond Harris Sr. and her forever chosen daughter Paula A. Keegan. She is the grandmother of Armani (Raymond Jr.) Christopher-Harris (Antonio Christopher), Andrea Joline Rose Harris, Raymont Davon Harris, Carol Taylor and the great grand mother of Abel Raye Harris, and Messiah and Vincent Taylor.

She studied accounting in New York and had a true passion for the arts expressed through many of her drawings, paintings, and clothing creations and alterations for her grandchildren and throughout the community. She will forever be remembered for her smile, her persistence to tell you how it is, and her passion for loving her family.
