Vickie Ezikpe, 66, of Cranston, RI passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2020 in Providence from her battle with Covid-19 and other complications. She was the daughter of James Andrew Smith and Lessie Mae Spruill. Vickie was the beloved wife of Christopher Ezikpe for many years. She was a loving mother and devoted wife. Before retiring, she worked at the Providence Housing Authority. She loved making everyone laugh and smile.
Vickie leaves to mourn her passing and celebrate her life her husband Christopher Ezikpe, siblings Donald Smith, Kathleen Smith and Billy Smith, her children Vaughn Smith, Makia Smith, Benson Nyam, Oyediya Ezikpe and Ikema Ezikpe, her grandchildren Lavaughna Towns, Mekhi Spruill, Veronica Smith, Romel Batista, Mekhi Batista, Nya Mwasaru, Anisha Nyam and Darius Nyam.
Vickie was the glue of the family, the epitome of strength and preservation. She was kind-hearted, welcoming with open arms to all, sincere, honest, humble, with an amazing sense of humor, down to earth, loving and giving. She loved drawing/art, writing and had a passion for music and dancing.
She was a member of the Huntington View Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and passed as a faithful servant of Jehovah.
She was a wife, a sister, a mother, a cousin, an aunt and a friend who we will all dearly miss.
