Susanna M. Weaver

August 27, 1964– May 18, 2025

When heaven gives out one of its own earth rejoice while heaven becomes sad, but when heaven receives one of its own earth becomes sad while heaven rejoice.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Reverend. Susannah Monkonjie Weaver commonly known as Sue. She transitioned on Sunday, May 18 at 8:00pm at the Rhode Island Hospital (Jane Brown Building) as a result of a protracted illness. Rev. Susannah was predeceased by her mother Theresa Y. Pierce.

Despite the life challenges she faced Sue was loving, kind, God fearing, smart, intelligent and ambitious. She dedicated her life to her family. She was very close to her mother, took care of her  and served the Lord fervently.

Reverend Susannah leaves to mourn her loss, her two children: Mr. Trokon Williams (son), and Miss Jossandra Moses (daughter), both of Providence, RI. Father: Mr. George Gibson (Liberia). Sister: Theresa Gibson and brother: Ebenezer Gibson, both of Liberia.

Two grandchildren: Jayden Williams, Troy P. Williams, and the host of other relatives, church family, and friends of the USA and Liberia respectively.

The remains of Reverend Susannah Monkonjie Weaver will be taken to the Pawtucket Memorial Park 100 Harrison Avenue

Warwick, RI, where she’ll lie in waiting until the resurrection.
