Steven Simpson
December 18, 1962 to September 14, 2023
Steven went to sleep peacefully as he took his last breath as to tell us all goodbye it's time to go. In memories of him he left his loving children his son Steven Junior Mitchell, daughters Karinta Marie Mitchell, Falisha Genie Mitchell, his children's mother Lula Mitchell, his cherished grandchildren Kamora Marie Mitchell, Reonny Geonny Mitchell, Maison Amir Andrade, sister Linda (Tshombe) Lambert, brothers Howard Willam Simpson, Danny Simpson his great Aunt Fannie Thomas and Uncle Jimmy Montalvo. He was the son of the late William Howard Simpson and the late Jean (Scott) Jest. He also lovingly left a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Steven Retired from his job at Metallurgical Solution Inc. He went to Hope High School and played football for them. He often with his brothers played basketball or baseball when they was growing up. He loved to watch the old black and white movies with his mother and sister back in the day. He loved music, art, karate movies, and of course sports. He often invited his family and friends to watch wrestling, boxing or football matches which always end being a fun night of food and laughter. His Mom will always cook a feast for everybody. Every weekend or weekday he takes a stroll to go see his grandchildren who they call Pop Pop which he enjoyed spending time with. He was always showing everyone pictures of them telling great things about. He always put his children first. Always been there for them and they often had many family get togethers and go shopping together. He loved everybody. If you was hanging out with him on the porch you are guaranteed a pizza or his favorite grinders. He also loved his butter and noodles which was his favorite to cook.
Steven believed in God he studied the Bible with the Jehovah Witnesses.
Steven we will truly miss you but we know you are at peace now and will never be forgotten by all of us. You are now with Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ Amen.
