Spencer H. Bliss

Spencer H. (Butch) Bliss Sr. A Jack of all trades a Master of all and life-long resident of Rhode Island passed away unexpectedly on November 21,2020 at the age of 57.

Spencer is survived by his mother Jacqueline Bliss-Saritelli  and his father who precedes him Spencer J. Bliss Sr.; his wife Amanda G. Bliss: his children, Jarelyn Bliss(Darin) , Spencer H. Bliss Jr., Sterlin Bliss Sr. , Jessica Bliss  along with his Stepchildren: Lawrence Daniel, Taura Daniel, Jordan Daniel , Telissa Doggett (Leroy) and Jasmine Daniel.  His dear Siblings: Crystal(Dee-Dee) Bliss, Dana(Boney) Bliss , Sonya Bliss and Ronald Bliss.  He also leaves several Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Godchildren and Bonus brothers and sisters. 

Spencer was employed by LTS Engineering State of Rhode Federal Court House as the Supervisor of Building Maintenance. Spencer performed his job proudly every day and always a gave 100%

Spencer was born on July 6, 1963 with a beautiful head of black curly hair. His mother s fondest memory, was after his very first haircut. The Barber turned Spencer around to the mirror and his mother screamed “that’s Butch” and that is how Butch”’ came to be. 

Anyone who knew Butch knew he loved his Mother aka “Ma” and the love of his life and best friend Amanda.

Butch was someone you could call on for any reason, he could fix EVERYTHING! When Butch said he was coming he came and saved the day. He was our leader in so many ways he was just so, and you learned real quick with Butch that he about the business at hand. Always ready to greet you that large smile that lit up the earth and quick with the funny comments.  Butch was a loyal New England Patriots fan and proud of it.

Butch cherished family togetherness he always made sure that the annual family activities were well planned so that everyone was able to enjoy. Butch was always at his station at every event on the grill.
