Sara Rodriguez

On Friday October 23, 2020 Sara Rodriguez, a loving mother survived by her 2 Brothers and sisters, 2 Daughters, 2 Son in Law's, 3 Granddaughters, Great Grandson and many other family members . Sara passed away in Providence RI at the age of 79. Sara was born on November 10,1940 in Caguas PR to Catalino Rodriguez and Elisa Aponte. She was raised to be very family oriented, kind, loving, hard working woman. Leaving school at a young age to help her parents around the house and help raise her younger siblings. She was married in 1965 to Dolores Segarra, they raised 2 beautiful daughters. Sara was a religious woman who never let her faith falter even towards the end. She was alway at her church services without fault. She raised her daughters like her in many ways but to also be their own individuals which have passed many of those traits onto their own children. One of the most important things to Sara was her family no matter the distance she did her best to keep in touch with everyone. Sara always greeted everyone with kindness. Sara was such a bright light in many people's lives. She may not be with us but she will always be loved and missed by all she has met. It was a true blessing to have been graced by her presence.
