Rudolph Rowery, 53 of Warwick, RI, after a prolong battle with colon cancer, with his loving family by his side, was called to rest on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Rudolph, better known as “Rudy” was the son of the late Tommie Lee Manley of Chicago, IL who along with his sister, Gloria Bouier, proceeded him in death. Rudy is survived by his children: Keevon and Keeara, step-children: Keelin and Keeona Howard and nephews: Qunicy and Antoine Bouier.
Rudy was born in Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL where he attended and graduated high school.
Rudy married Kinya Howard on his birthday December 3, 2004 shortly after moving to Providence, RI.
He worked various jobs in his early years but settled in with a career with Southwest Airlines. He worked for over 19 years with Southwest as a baggage handler, where he developed many lifelong friendship, until his health forced him into early retirement.
Rudy was what most would call a “computer geek”. He loved assembling computers, working with gadgets, and other technical equipment. His pastime was spent reading computer magazines and computer programming books. He loved anything dealing with computers. He also loved dearly his cats Dexter and Raven and considered them his children.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Bell Funeral Home, Inc., 571 Broad Street, Providence, RI 02907
