Rosa M. Mercado

Rosa Mercado, born on September 15, 1938, in Comitancillo, San Marcos. Guatemala. passed away peacefully May 8th 2026.  Rosa came to the United States nearly 60 years ago in search of a better life and worked tirelessly throughout her life as a housekeeper. She was known as a caring woman, a devoted friend, and someone who always gave of herself to others with kindness and warmth.

Rosa lived a life defined by hard work, resilience, and compassion. She formed meaningful friendships throughout her years and was appreciated for her caring nature, generosity, and quiet strength. Those who knew Rosa will remember her warm heart, dedication to helping others, and the kindness she shared so freely.

She is survived by her children, Rodolfo Murga, Nestor Rodgriguez, and Sandra Murga, and her grandchildren, Daniel, Alejandra, Rodrigo and Monica and many others beloved family memebers. Rosa’s memory will live on in the hearts of all whose lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed.
