Richard Winston, 53, of Warwick, R.I. (Raised in Washington Park) passed away on March 29th, 2023 at R.I. Hospital surrounded by his family. Richard was a positive, dedicated, hard working family man who also valued friendship. Richard worked at the Port of Providence for nine years along side his son, Derrick, and best friend, Corey Tabor. He enjoyed doing home improvements, playing dominoes and he was a Dallas Cowboys fan. 

Richard was preceded in death by his father Milton (Riggie) Riggins Jr. He leaves behind his mother Kathryn Riggins of Providence, his wife Staci Turner of Warwick, his two daughters Ladaisha Jones of Providence, Nakiyah Winston of Warwick, two sons Derrick Winston and Daqaun Turner of Providence. His grandchildren Kyheir, Zaiden, Loyal, Amelia and another grandson due soon. Richard also leaves his two brothers Donnell Winston of Providence and Milton Riggins III of East Providence, three sisters Darlene Gomes of Providence, Victoria Palmer of Warren, Angel Alba of East Providence and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. You will forever be loved and missed, Big Rich.
