Our father, Pedro Rosas Cortes passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 57, in Providence, Rhode Island. Pedro passed surrounded by loved ones, both family and friends.

He was born in Mexico on July 3rd 1967. A son to Samuel Rosas and Carmen Cortes. A brother to Mario Rosas, Efraín Rosas, Jose Rosas, Josefina Rosas, and Guadalupe Rosas. A father to Carmen Rosas, Leslie Rosas, Jessica Rosas, Carlos Rosas, and Camila Rosas. 

He was a strong willed and hard working man, a loving father, brother, son and uncle who put his family first and did his best to provide for his family. He was a very friendly man with a warm energy, quick to make friends with absolute strangers and always able to find a way to connect to people. He loved to crack jokes and spend time with his family and friends. He was known as the funny and cool Tio. He was always good at getting a laugh. Pedro also loved a great bargain and hunting for a good deal. He went out of his way for family and friends. He was also a fan of spicy food and the Patriots. Pedro always stood out while wearing bright colors, colors almost as loud as his personality. He will be forever missed and loved by his family, many of whom live in Rhode Island but also in Mexico. His time here was cut far too short, but the memories he has given to his family and friends will always be cherished. Pedro will be deeply missed but will continue to live in the hearts of his loved ones.
