In Loving Memory of Pearlie Mims-Bird

Pearlie Mims-Bird of Providence, RI passed away peacefully on April 16, 2021 at Morgan Health Center in Johnston, RI.

Pearlie was born in Shreveport, LA on December 11, 1925.  She was the daughter of the Late Ed and Mary (Gaines) Mims.

Pearlie worked at A.T. Cross in Lincoln, RI for over 35 years.  She enjoyed going downtown shopping every Saturday.  She loved to watch her Celtics and Patriots games and crime shows.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  She was such a kind and sweet woman.

Pearlie is survived by her son Robert Bird (Pamelia), 7 grandchildren (Timothy Granville, Trevor Granville, Dawnteshia Granville (Prince Brown), Sheilita Hazard, Staisha Cornish, Robert Fayerweather and Darlene High (Lee).  14 Great-Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great-Grandchilden.  Also, hosts of Nieces and Nephews.

Pearlie is preceded in death by all her siblings, her 2 sons Willie and Ronald Bird and her daughter Carolyn Mims, her grandson Rodney Granville and her granddaughter Ronnette Harris.
