Patricia A. “Boney” Johnson

Patricia A. Johnson, born July 11, 1953, passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 71. She leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and humor that will be deeply missed. Patricia is survived by her three siblings: Kenneth D. Johnson, Valerie D. Johnson, and Diane Johnson; her beloved daughter & son-in-law Daniell’a Johnson, and Tevin Roscoe; and her nine cherished grandchildren: Ameer, Ja’meer, Jahshaun, Charles, Letrelle, Parrys, Dijiorre “Mama”, Marques, and Kamari. She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren Karmen, and Kalise, who will carry her memory forward.

Patricia is preceded in death by her 3 children: Marquis Johnson, Amir Johnson, and baby Clea. ten siblings: Chester, Arlene, Joyce, Margaret, Deborah, William, Darrell, Cheryl, Ronald, and Donald. She is also reunited with her parents, Chester C. Johnson and Mildred R. Johnson.

Patricia had a vibrant spirit and a passion for life. She found joy in spending time at the casino and was deeply devoted to her many nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored. Her sharp wit and humor were legendary, often sharing her favorite saying, “Now I’m not sayin’ im a gold digger, but you ain’t messin’ with no broke broke!” Patricia’s humor and wisdom will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her.

She worked for many years as a housekeeper at the Newport Marriott, where she was known for her hard work and dedication. Patricia’s warmth, kindness, and love for her family will never be forgotten.

She will be missed deeply by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
