Nashona “Nae Nae” Huntley

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Nashona Huntley, affectionately known as “Nae Nae,” on July 17, 2026, at her home in Providence, Rhode Island. She was just 23 years old.

Nashona was a bright, caring, and resilient young woman whose love for her family was evident in everything she did. At the time of her passing, she was pursuing her high school diploma, determined to build a brighter future for herself. Her greatest pride and joy was being a mother to her beloved son, Jarrel, who was the center of her world.

Nashona was the cherished daughter of the late Sharon Huntley and Nathan Lee. She was affectionately loved by her grandmother, Shirley Huntley, whose unwavering love and support meant so much throughout her life.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving siblings, Oluwafunmi “Kayla” Huntley, Trevon Huntley, Chanda Watts, Nathan Lee Jr., and Genard Lee. She also leaves behind her aunt, neices, nephews, cousins, extended family, and countless friends whose lives were touched by her laughter, and beautiful spirit.

Though her time on earth was far too short, Nashona’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
