Mildred “Millie” (Montgomery) Brown beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother was called to rest on April 14th, 2023 at 5:10am surrounded by family at home.
Millie was born March 29th, 1942 in Senatobia, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by parents Edmond and Leona Montgomery, brother Robert Montgomery, Sister Linder Thompson, and daughter Kim Marie Brown.
Millie worked for Brown University for 45 years starting her career in the engineering department, and retired working in the University’s John Rockefeller library.
Millie is survived by Kenneth Brown, daughters Gina Brown and Zina Brown. Three Granddaughters, Nichole Montgomery, Tyla Williams (Kevin), and Kacee Montgomery. Six great grandchildren, Madisyn Montgomery- Barber, Kayden Williams, Carter Holloway, Kai Williams, Kassidy Montgomery-Santos and Princetin Montgomery-Santos.
Millie also leaves behind her beloved siblings. Three Sisters, Erma Lopes (Late John Lopes), Edweina Washington(Earl), and Leona Montgomery. Five brothers, Edmond Montgomery(Peggy), Kirk Montgomery (Nancy), Ollie Carl Montgomery, Ronald Montgomery( Late Kim Montgomery), and Reverend Doctor John Michael Montgomery. As well as a host of nieces and nephews.
