Mercedes D. Valdez (Polanco) ,Dońa Nìna ,90, of Providence, Rhode Island, passed away January 15, 2019. Mrs. Valdez was born on April 17,1928 in Dominican Republic.

She was the devoted wife of the late Pedro Valdez and loving mother of Raphael Polanco, Carmen G Ortega, Milagros Valdez, Juan Valdez.

Mrs. Valdez is survived by her children, grand children, great grand children and many other family and friends. She will be missed by all.
