Marie A. Silva-Walker

September 3, 1947 – January 16, 2022

Marie Antonette Silva-Walker, born September 3, 1947, passed away unexpectedly January 16, 2022 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, RI at the age of 74. She was the daughter of the late Peter Edward Silva and Florence Estelle Brewster both of Providence, RI. She was proceeded in death by her sons Duane and Kenneth Fordham and grandson Demetrius Todd of RI. Marie is survived by her husband Walter Walker, children Josie Green and Keith Fordham, siblings Patricia Walker, James Silva, Antonette Wallace, Lawrence Nunes, and Shandrea Silva Rodriguez of RI, Melissa Silva Parker of North Carolina, and Taiandra Markham of Oklahoma. Marie was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin. Her surviving grandchildren include Kiah Bryant, Keisha Fordham, Kayla Huntley, Christopher "CJ" Bryant Jr., Kenneth Fordham Jr., Keith "lil" Fordham Jr., Ebony Clements, Tianna Fordham, and Marcus Robinson. She is also survived by her 10 great-grandchildren. 

Marie was the matriarch of her family. Her spirit was kind and she always gave great advise. She loved her family dearly and her presence will forever be felt by all those she knew and loved.
