Lucienne Valme

Lucienne Valme´ was born June 10, 1950 to loving parents, Marie Estamelise Cavalie & Valme´ Lenord in Port-au-Prince, in Haiti. She departed this life at 71 years old on September 15, 2021 at the Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, RI.

Lucienne was raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and she was the eldest of 11 siblings. She was a loving mother and had 3 loving children.

Despite her illness, she was a great advisor, very responsible and well-respected and she enjoyed life to the fullest. A zealous & fervent worshipper of God, she participated in numerous caritative activities. She earned the admiration of most Evangelical Christians of Sinai Church in Haiti. She was a dedicated servant of God, who never ceased asking Him to pour his blessings upon her family, as a prayer warrior. Prior to her illness, she attended Elmwood Avenue Church of God in Rhode Island, where she was a faithful member and sang in the Gospel choir.

Lucienne leaves to cherish her memory: 10 siblings, her 3 loving children Jean Bernard Souffrant, Soraya Souffrant, & Kenwuide Wenster Valme´; 4 grandchildren, whom she enjoyed until the final moments of her life: Jeremiah, Elijah, Delliah, & Brianna; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She will be missed by all.
