Linda E. Edwards

Linda R. Edwards, 76, of Providence, RI, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025. She was born on May 8, 1948, in Shelby, North Carolina, to the late Dorothy Peeler.

Linda was the beloved wife of the late Willard “Tony” Edwards and the devoted mother of the late Keith Edwards and Brian Rich of Chicago, Illinois. She leaves behind her cherished grandsons, Keith Edwards (Leslie) and Devin Edwards, as well as her adored great-grandchildren, Grey and Wednesday Edwards, and Dakota White. Linda was a loving sister to Faye Peeler-Jean (Hugues), Dyeanne Berry, Doris Berry, Rachel Berry, Louis Berry, and Emmett “Junior”Berry. She was the niece of Maxine Ross and a beloved aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.

A woman of grace and impeccable style, Linda was the proud owner of Backstage Fashion’s Boutique on Broad Street in Providence for many years. Her passion for fashion was matched only by her love for family, and she found great joy in spending time with those she held dear.

Linda’s warmth, elegance, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
