Linda Y. Doran

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our dear sister Linda Y Doran (63) of Prov., RI, who passed away unexpectedly at Rhode Island Hospital on February 26, 2024.
   
Born on August 14, 1960, in Providence RI, she was the daughter of the late Harold E Doran Sr and Thelma H Doran. She is survived by her sister Doreen L Doran-Esaojo, (Prov., RI) brothers Harold E. Doran Jr (Prov., RI) Richard F. Doran (Durham, NC) and predeceased by brother James E. Doran (Bridgeport, CT). She also leaves many loving family members and dear friends.
   
After graduating from Central High School in Prov., RI, Linda studied at CCRI and began her decades long career in eldercare, where she worked as a CNA/MedTech for several nursing facilities throughout the state.
   
Guided by The Good Book and The Big Book,she had an eye for art and an ear for music, enjoying drawing, painting, playing musical instruments, home and garden décor, cooking, writing, all of nature, and of course playing her PlayStation. Spending time with her beloved sister Doreen and walking her dog Allie were among her favorite things to do.
   
Remember her in life and take comfort knowing that her earthly burdens are no more, and through faith will spend eternity in the presence of the Lord and those who have gone before her.
   
You will always be loved and forever missed. Until we meet again, may you rest in perfect peace.
