Leonard Grant Scott

Leonard Grant Scott, 77, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2019 surrounded by his loving family in Providence, RI.  He was born on January 24, 1942 in East Saint Louis, Illinois.  Mr. Scott was the son of Otis T. Scott and Effie L. (Grant) Scott.  He relocated to Rhode Island and moved to Providence. He was a military man and entered the Army at a young age.  Mr. Scott was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He was married to the love of his life, Thena (Watts) Scott.  Mr. Scott loved his family and friends.  He had a great sense of humor and always made everyone laugh.  He always shared his great wisdom with his family.  

Leonard Grant Scott is survived by his loving wife Thena Scott, children Greg E Scott, Lynne G Scott, Kenneth Watts, Leonard Dipina and Tara King, sisters Virginia Kaufer, Chandra Brown and Harriet Wilkins, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline A. Scott, son Leonard G Scott JR, siblings, Jean Morton, Otis T Scott and Roddie Scott.

He will be missed by his all who loved him.
