Leah T. Stutts-Ayoola, 58 passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2023. Leah was born to the late Harriet Scott-Wilkins and the late Samuel Stutts, Sr.
Leah was previously employed by Elmhurst Nursing Home. Leah enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed cooking. Leah could be found at any family cookout, with her famous potato salad in tow. She also enjoyed smaller cookouts in the backyards of her family members. Leah was a people person and would strike up a conversation with people she did not know often. She enjoyed doing things for other people. She welcomed everyone with love and a hug. She was generous with her time and anything she had. If you needed something and she had it, it was yours. Leah was one of the kindest people many have ever known. There was no more gentle soul than Leah and her loss will be felt by many.
Her greatest gifts and legacy in her life were her children and grandchildren. Her children were her heart. She spoke of her love and happiness for her children. She was very proud of them and all of their accomplishments. She was present at every event and felt her children were her reason for her very being.
Her grandchildren were her soul. She was a hands-on grandmother and present in their lives daily. If she was not out with family or friends, she was home with one of her grandchildren. They were her prized possessions and she did everything to make sure they were happy.
Although Leah is no longer here, she will be here in spirit. Leah, you now have your wings and although your family loves and needs you, God needed you more. Fly High Leah!!!
Those who are left to cherish her memory are her beloved children, 2 daughters, Melinda Stutts, Providence and Joyce Monteiro, Cranston and 1 son, Wesley Ayoola, Cranston, 10 Grandchildren, Isaiah, Liyah, Azaria, Welsy, Jr, Courtland, Savannah, Elijah, Cameron, Zaniyah and Zyair.
