Latoya attended the Providence Public Schools, and received her Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate.
Latoya who was better known as Toya had a Jovial personality her beauty was inside out. Along with her love for spending time with her family and friends, Toya had a passion for good food. She would not turn down the opportunity to eat a good meal. Toya’s frequent conversations with her mother and sisters and her group chat calls with her cousins who were raised like siblings, although there were times she kept you on the phone longer than you wanted. That was a testament to her strong family bonds. Toya was also known for her listening ears, wise advice and generous spirit. Toya’s love for life and having a good time with family and friends and her affection gave everyone around her good laughs and a big smile.
To cherish her memory she leaves behind her mother Monica Ledo of Providence, RI
her five children: James Laquan Ledo, Dennasha Nyla Ledo, Rayniah Brandi Ledo, Rayshawn Lee Ledo, Ramell Jhon Ledo and her only grandchild Jose Yanis Castillo Ledo whom she loved dearly all of Providence, RI. Her siblings: Berritta Ledo of Springfield Mass, Shonda Ledo and brother in-law Jermaine Perry of North Providence RI, Dwayne Ledo of Providence RI, Devona Rainey of Pawtucket RI, Kiana Londy of Arlington Mass, and Kyla Sutter of New Hampshire. Toya also leaves behind nieces and nephews and cousins who were like siblings, aunts and uncles and a host of other relatives and friends who loved her dearly. Although we will miss her presence her memory especially her favorite two phrases (This is it) and (I know that’s right) will live with us.
Dear Toya thank you for touching the lives of those around you with your warmth and kindness, you will be deeply missed by your children and the rest of us, we love you.
