Kimm Anthony Knott

Kimm Anthony Knott of Millington, Maryland, passed away unexpectantly at his home in Millington, Maryland on October 30, 2021.
Born on March 1, 1961, in Providence, Rhode Island, Kimm Anthony Knott was born to his father, the late James Lassiterand his dear mother Diane Knott Washington. Kimm is survived by his three sons: Anthony Knott, Shaquille Knott, and Raheem Knott and daughter Consuelo Knott. Left to remember Kimm’slife are his siblings: Darrell Taylor and his sister-in-law Zelda Taylor of East Providence, RI, James Knott of Pawtucket, RI,Charlena Knott of East Providence, RI, Mollie Lassiter of Pawtucket, RI, Joycelyn Lassiter of Providence, RI, Eugene Knott of Providence and Elizabeth Powell of Providence, RI.Two granddaughters also survive him. Kimm’s predeceased stepfather Eugene Washington was his lightening guide, encourager, and arrow during the crossroads of Kimm’s life.
Kimm completed his education in the Providence school system, graduating from Mount Pleasant High School. After high school he enlisted in the Army National Guard and later serving in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. Following his career in the army Kimm earned a four-year diploma from Wilmington College, in Delaware where he also achieved the Academic Dean’s List. In life Kimm was a devoted reader of his Holy Bible. Kimm made sure to call his mother Diane on the phone every other week for check-ins, updates, and advice. Whenever possible Kimm traveled to family gatherings, the times Kimm’s could not make it to us, his favorite uncle, Ralph “Chico” Taylor would be on his way to Kimm’s. Kimm held on to fond memories of Uncle Chico after his passing, Kimm often shared stories celebrating Uncle Chico’s life and their bond together.
Kimm will be greatly missed by his aunts, uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members and friends.
