Kenneth W. Lewis, affectionately known to family and friends as "Pluck," was born on May 14, 1966, in Providence, Rhode Island. He passed away on August 24, 2024, in his beloved hometown, where he spent his life building a legacy centered around family, love, and perseverance.
Kenneth was a devoted father who cherished his children above all else, finding his greatest joy in their presence. He often shared his wisdom with a favorite saying: "You better work on that credit, so you can swipe that card and keep cash in your pocket," a testament to his practical approach to life. Kenneth was known for his striking blue eyes and a warm personality that drew people to him.
In addition to his role as a dedicated parent, he was a successful business owner and homeowner, a testament to his hard work and determination. Kenneth enjoyed fishing in his free time, finding peace and relaxation in the great outdoors. He also had a passion for karate, which reflected his disciplined nature.
His love for music was evident, with the artists Tupac and Too Short being two of his favorites, and he had a particular fondness for smothered pork chops , white rice and creamed corn which he often enjoyed with family during gatherings. Kenneth is survived by his loving Mother, brothers, sister, children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins. all of whom will carry forward his spirit and values.
Kenneth W. Lewis will be remembered for his unwavering love for family, his humorous outlook on life, and his enduring legacy as a devoted father and friend. He leaves behind a world made brighter by his presence.
