Kandakai A. Duncan III

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Kandakai Alphonso Duncan III, also known as D-Boy, our beloved Father, Son, Grandson, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, and Friend. Kandakai was called to be with the Lord on Friday, April 2nd, 2021. He was 34 years of age.

Kandakai was predeceased by his father Kandakai A. Duncan II (2015). He leaves to mourn 7 children: Kandadai, Alexis, Noah, Kharie, Kai, Jayden, and Isabella. In addition, he leaves behind his Mother, Arimetta “Tete” Duncan; three Sisters, Alvena, Precious, & Renelder; and one Brother, Maxwell. He also leaves behind, his Grandfather, Kandakai A. Duncan I, Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, many other Relatives and Friends.

Kandakai was a very resourceful, charismatic, and handyman. As a youth His passion for cooking was enormous. Because of his enjoyment for cooking, he enrolled and completed his certificate at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. In addition, he was a handy man and was considered a tree with many branches. D-Boy always gave a helping hand to family and friends whenever a need arose.

D-Boy we will miss you so very much as well as your friends and associates. God loan you to us and we enjoyed every moment of your time. We had no idea you would leave us so soon; when heaven gives out one of its own, earth rejoices and when heaven takes one of its own earth grieves.

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh as He so desires. As we mourn your loss, we will do so with the hope that you will take your rest and await the resurrection.
