Julio Marrero Cabassa

Julio Marrero Cabassa passed away peacefully on September 16, 2022.   He was a life longtime resident of Cranston, RI.   He was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.  He worked for Valtex Fabrics in NYC, which later became Elmwood Fabric Handlers in Cranston, RI, for over 60 years.   Julio was the husband of the late Juana Rivera Marrero and father of the late Iris Marrero.   He also leaves behind his children, jay Marrero (Narragansett), Juana Marrero (Warwick), Fred Marrero (Cranston) and Yolanda Marrero-Viera (Warwick), 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren,   The Patriarch of the family will be truly missed,

“Nobody can be perfect, but Dad was as close to being the most perfect Dad anyone could have.   Dad’s love was unconditional and this is something the whole family will cherish from him and take with us all forever.   His kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.   May you forever Rest in Peace”
