It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph A.P. Wright, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and dedicated educator. He peacefully departed this life on December 8, 2024, at the age of 78.
Born on August 6, 1946, in Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia, Joseph lived a life marked by dedication, resilience, and service to his family and community. His remarkable career in education began as an Administrator at the LAMCO School System, where he played a pivotal role in fostering an environment of learning and growth. He later continued his impactful journey as an Administrator at Immaculate Conception Catholic School, leaving a legacy of excellence, compassion, and inspiration for countless students and colleagues.
Joseph was a man of deep faith, wisdom, and boundless love. He shared a beautiful partnership in life with his devoted wife, Agnes Wright, who stood by his side through his last days.
His greatest pride and joy were his family. Joseph’s legacy lives on through his 10 children, 25 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He instilled in them values of integrity, perseverance, and a deep love for one another.
A pillar of strength and a guiding light, Joseph A.P. Wright was a beacon of hope in his community. His gentle spirit, unwavering commitment to education, and boundless generosity will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.The family is deeply grateful for your support, prayers, and comforting words during this difficult time.
