Josefa Argentina Quezada

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the beloved Josefa Argentina Quezada, on October 8, 2023, surrounded by family, was laid to rest

 Born September 8, 1930 in Tamboril, Dominican Republic to the late Alfredo Rodriguez and Simona Abreu, Josefa was blessed with a tenacious spirit, and with generations worth of love to share throughout the years. She truly was an instrument of God created in his image of love, generosity, and strength . Most compelling was her dedication towards her family and the time she took to inbed pieces of herself throughout our memories. 

Josefa was a once in a lifetime experience, she inspired many with the sacrifices shes made, and can only be described as a pride and a true matriarch to her family. Born a religious women she never once betrayed her beliefs or morals, from life til death she was truly a devoted woman who we can confidently know is finally at peace.  She had a gift of making all that were around her feel loved, accepted and appreciated, truly a kind spirit with no judgment instead releasing love, fun, laughter, and playfulness into this world all while maintaining a stable and put together visage. What a Tender hearted woman she was.  

Josefa is survived by her husband Julio A. Quezada, six children, Rafaela,  Ramona, Julia, Fransisco, and Yamillet, and 14 grandchildren Julio, Julissa, Shanice, Tanairi, Gabriel, Omariion, Bradly, Yonaiby, Lorenzo, Rosanna, Jesus, Aldo, Manuel, Yashana, and many more extended family

We are grieving our loss of Josefa every minute and we know she’s resting well along with many other laid to rest family members, now we can only pray and hope she has found a peace in her life she couldn’t find here. We are proud to have loved you and known you. Your legacy is infinite to all you touch. You were loved by so many and will continue to be so.
