José Manuel González was born in Dominican Republic on March 19, 1947 to his parents Ana Teresa Martinez and Candelario González, caring husband to Ramona González, father to José Manuel González Jr, daughter in law Silvana P, Maximiliano González, daughter in law Sady E, Ramona Maria González, son in law Kelvis G. grandfather to Mercedes González, Kelvin José González, Kenny José González, Maximiliano Ajit González, Maximiliano José González, Victoria González, great grandfather to Maria Teresa González and Kaiya Marie González, brother to Gloria Piccirrillo. He passed away on May 7, 2025 at the age 78

José was a physical education teacher at Puerto Rico D.R. School. He was one of the founders, member, and basketball and volleyball teacher at the Centro and Club Deporte Macorisano during the 1960s and 1970s. José was a sports fan, especially baseball, volleyball, and basketball.

 One of José Manuel's best moments, or "FIESTON," was spending time with his family and sharing a good meal. José thoroughly enjoyed playing and relaxing with his grandchildren.
He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

Falleció el 7 de mayo de 2025 a la edad de 78 años.

José fue profesor de Educación Física en la Escuela Puerto Rico D.R.
Fue uno de los fundadores, miembro y profesor de baloncesto, voleibol, durante lo años 60 y 70, en el Club Centro y Deporte Macorisano.
José era aficionado a los deportes, especialmente béisbol, voleibol, y baloncesto. 

Unos de los mejores momentos  o “FIESTON” de José Manuel era pasar tiempo con su familia y compartir una buena comida. José disfrutaba al máximo el jugar y relajar con sus nietos.
José Manuel falleció en paz rodeado de su querida familia.
