Joel Diaz, 44, of Heath St., passed away in Providence, RI on Sunday, December 1, 2019. He was the loving husband of Joenya D. Baez for the last 15 years.

Born on May 23, 1975 in Rio Piedras, PR, the son of Santa Barbara Diaz and Miguel Gonzalez, Sr.

Mr. Diaz worked as a Landscaper in the Agriculture Industry for many years. He moved from Puerto Rico to New York as a youngster and then to Providence, RI in 2005.

Besides his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory, brothers Daniel Vega, Julian Fontanez and Miguel Gonzalez, Jr., sister in laws, nieces & nephews as well as many other family and friends.
