Jacinda Kennedy Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Jacinda Mauree Kennedy announces she was taken to heaven on Friday, April 17, 2020 at the age of 23. Jacinda was a beautiful soul born in Providence, Rhode Island.  As a little girl Jacinda loved fashion, makeup, hair and walking in her mommy’s or grandma’s heels. She would cut up her Barbie’s clothing and hair and redesign them. She had dreams of having one day her own fashion line and becoming a professional make-up artist. She had skills with makeup that can’t be taught. She was a natural at it and could make anyone feel beautiful after doing their makeup. She loved movies from thrillers to romance and comedies. She loved playing video games because she was always a kid at heart. She loved food especially her mother’s. She would always want her mom’s rice. Her ethnicity (Puerto Rican, Honduran and Liberian) made her a lover of many exotic foods.

She was never someone who tried to blend in with the crowd but instead always stood out. Any room she walked into all eyes were on her. She had a presence about her that drew people to her. A smile that lit up a room. Jacinda was strong willed but gentle at the same time. She was “Spicy” but nice. She loved her music, any genre. She had her own unique style and stayed in heels. Jacinda had her own opinion and view of life and stood her ground. She loved to travel and just enjoy life. Her grandmother would say that Jacinda would never get any wrinkles because she was so carefree.  She was loved by many and touched so many lives during her short time here on earth and now she rests in the arms of our Heavenly Father God.

Jacinda Kennedy’s memory will live on by the countless people who loved her including her mother Yolanda Kennedy, father, Rufus V. Kennedy Jr. AKA Marco. Her sisters Malena, Janali, Elainer, Maxzine and Marlin. Her grandparents Rufus and Elaine Kennedy. Her Aunts Nora Diaz (Juan), Sandra Johnson (Tony), Ruth Colon, Noemi Aviles (Vinny), Massa Wiles (Bill), Florence Kennedy-Ward (James), Rufina Bediako (Gordon), Cieanna Kennedy-Stevens (Clinton), Maxzine Kennedy, and Natasha Kennedy. Uncle Ramon Colon and her cousins Priscilla, Andrew, Emmanuel, Ramon, Miguel, Carlos, Osman, Katherine, Miriam, Charnel (Munyoki), Zoe, Liam, Clinton (CJ), William, Darius, Cory, Devin, Christian, Arielle and Naomi. She also will be fondly remembered by her 20 second cousins, multiple great aunts and great uncles. Jacinda was predeceased by her grandmother Norma Ordonez, grandfather Cleto Colon, her uncles Carlos, Lorbin, Aldo, Marvin, David, her cousins Sam and Noah and her great grandparents.
