Eugene Troy Kilgore Sr. leaves behind a legacy of love, (wife) Rhonda Kilgore and his children, Eugene Jr., Genea, Genesha, Donnell, Derryck,  Justin, Gennelle, Geneajha and his step daughter Diondra. 

He is the son to the late Pauline Garrett and Matthew “Raymond” Verner.  His loving maternal grandmother the late Ada Kilgore whom he loved with all his heart. He He leaves behind his brother Donnelle Kilgore and sister Tara Freeman, Today, we celebrate his life because he touched the hearts of everyone he encountered with his kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones.  Gene is truly the richest person I know, not because he had a lot of money but because he had unlimited love, kindness, humbleness, dedication and pride. He dedicated his life to taking care of his kids and wife. Always staying grounded and rooted with good intentions. He made family a priority and he loved the title “Pop Pop”. He could not get enough of bringing the grandkids together and creating moments which will always be remembered. 

Gene has always been there in all the ways that matter…

17 years at the same job,, friends that became family and integrity that was contagious. Lastly you will be missed and you will always be loved. Too Sweet..
