Donald Groce was born on June 16, 1948, in Queenstown, Maryland, to the late David Groce and Shirley Hutchins. In the 1960s, Donald moved to Rhode Island, where he built a life and became known by many for his kind spirit and hardworking nature.
Donald had a true passion for cooking and spent many years working as a cook in restaurants. Being in the kitchen was more than just a job for him—it was something he truly loved. Preparing meals and sharing his talent with others brought him joy.
He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Joseph Hadrick, Milton Hadrick, Florence Thomas, and Jonathan Hadrick. He was predeceased by his parents, David Groce and Shirley Hutchins, and his siblings Sylvia Beals, David Groce, George Hadrick, and Calvin Hadrick.
Donald also leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss him dearly and remember him with love.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
