It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniela Disla, 65, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Herbert Health & Rehabilitation Center after a long battle in recovery after an accidental fall. She left us peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones.
Daniela Disla was the eldest daughter of Benigno Polanco and Dominga Toribio born in Dominican Republic in the province of Duarte in San Francisco de Macoris, where she resided and grew until graduating high school and marrying her high school sweetheart. Daniela always made sure those in her presence felt welcomed into her warm and inviting family, and compassionately extended her joy to others by supporting anyone in need of help in her community.
Daniela was predeceased by her eldest and loving daughter Yadisa Disla and is survived by her beloved and supportive husband of forty five years, Nelson Disla, her son Nelson, her daughter Emely, and her three beautiful grandchildren Arghennis, Jaxson, and Juliana; her brothers Andre Toribio, Daniel Toribio, Joseph Polanco, and Ellison Polanco; her sisters Ramona Polanco, Jacqueline Polanco, and Yvette Salcedo (nee Polanco); numerous nieces, nephews, and God-children; and a host of friends and well-wishers.
