In Loving Memory of
Collin Alexander Beckford
Collin Alexander Beckford, affectionately known as Sparrow, was born on January 7, 1964, in the Middlesex District of the Parish of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, West Indies. He was theeleventh child born to the late Leana and Eustace Beckford.
Collin attended Holland Primary School and Lacovia High School in St. Elizabeth, where he completed his secondary education. From a young age, he learned the value of hard work and grew into an industrious and dependable man.
Collin was an exceptional man who loved God and his family deeply. He was a man of profound strength, intelligence, character, generosity, and wisdom. His life was lived with purpose, and his beliefs and values were shaped by his strong and unwavering faith. He never had an unkind word to say about anyone and always chose to see the good in every situation. Through faith and perseverance, he overcame every obstacle placed in his path.
On January 15, 2026, Collin was called home to be with his Heavenly Father, where he now rests in eternal peace.
He leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Stacy Beckford; his two children, Tasha-Gay and Romar; and his three grandchildren. He is also deeply missed by his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, friends, and many other relatives.
Though our hearts are heavy, we look forward with hope to a joyful reunion when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ returns.
