Charles Marquis Johnson

Charles Marquis Johnson, 43, of Providence, RI passed away at home on Wednesday, June 17, 2020.

He was born on March 31, 1977 in Providence, RI. The son of Charles Young and Patricia Johnson.

Marquis was an Alumni of Central High school and CCRI in Providence, RI. He gained his CDL license and was currently employed as a Truck Driver, a member of Teamsters Local 251 Union.

He loved playing basketball, music, spending quality time with his family and his loving children.

Marquis leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother and father Patricia Johnson and Charles Young, sister Daniell’a Johnson, children Jahshaun Jenkins, Charles M. Johnson Jr., Letrelle Johnson, Parrys K. Perez-Johnson, Marques K. Perez-Johnson, Kamari Richards, granddaughters Karmen Elise Perez-Johnson, and Kalise Milan Perez, nephews Ameer Johnson and Ja’meer Roscoe, as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.

He was predeceased by his grandmother Mildred R. Johnson, grandfather Chester C. Johnson, brothers Clea Wayne Johnson and Amir Mahdi Johnson

Marquis had the brightest smile and was always well spoken. His memory will live on forever.
