Barbara A. (Black) Lewis

Barbara A. Lewis Passed away peacefully on October 25, 2019 surrounded by her loving family in Providence, RI.  She was born on March 23, 1937 in Shelby, NC.  She was the daughter of John and Hattie Key.  Mrs. Lewis was the only child.  She graduated from Rhode Island College and pursued her career in the medical field.  She also worker at Providence Head Start before retiring.  Barbara was the loving wife of Donald E. Lewis and they were married for over 50 years.  She was an exceptional mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, cousin and friend.  Mrs. Lewis was a devoted member at Congdon Street Baptist Church for over 40 years.  Mrs. Barbara A. Lewis leave behind to mourn her memory her children Telinda Black and Marcus Lewis, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other family and friends.
