Anthony Brooks

Anthony “Huckabuck” Brooks, 59 of Providence, RI, passed away on October 10, 2023.  

Anthony was born on January 19, 1964, to Anthony Monteiro and the late Marie Brooks. He is survived by his two sons Anthony Bjornson of Maine and Antwan Stuckey of Providence, and his 2 grandchildren. He leaves behind his 6 siblings, Stanley Brooks and his wife Jeannette of Woonsocket, Mary Theresa Brooks of Atlanta, GA, Edith, Towanda, and Malinda Brooks of Providence, RI and Toni Monteiro of East Providence, RI. He also leaves behind his long-time companion Elizabeth Sanchez-Gillins of Providence, RI.

He was the uncle of the late Marquis Brooks, Darren Reagans, Jason Wise and Dewayne Hill, and survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends, all across Rhode Island.
