Angel L Baez, age 43, passed away on 1/30/24. Angel is survived by his parents Ledey Morales, Hector Sanchez and Jorge Baez. His two sisters, Ana L Baez and Lisa Baez as well as three brothers, Miguel A Sanchez , Jose A Sanchez and one deceased brother Jorge Baez. His children Angel L Baez Jr, Alaijha Marie Baez, Alexander Jeremiah Baez, Angelina Marie Baez and Austin Jeremiah Baez as well as his grandson Zion E. Baez. He also left behind his partner the mother of his two younger children, Jackeline Gomez as well as his cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and the rest of his family and loved ones. Angel grew up in Providence, RI where he attended Central high School. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandson and supporting little league at Mount Pleasant. He also loved racing and paintballing, riding his motorcycle, gaming and uplifting anyone in need. Angel was known as the life of the party, the type of person where "no one was safe " with his jokes. He made sure everyone kept a smile on their face. His smile and laugh brightened up the entire room. Angel would do anything for his friends and family, and loved to be a helping hand and was the first one to reach out to friends struggling with mental health regardless of what he was going through himself. He was truly selfless. Angel made everyone laugh, cry, and clap at all the stories he shared. Our family and his friends are so grateful to know that he is at peace.
I AM FREE
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
I’m following the path God laid for me.I took His hand when I heard Him call,I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day, to laugh,
To love, to work or play.Tasks undone must stay that wayI’ve found that peace at the close of the day.If parting has left a void,Then fill it with remembered joy.A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,Ah, yes, these things I too will miss.Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me,
God wants me now, He set me free
