Obituary

Ana Silvia Sanchez, 55 yo of Cranston RI passed away on January 8th 2022. Ana was born on August 23,1966 in Santiago, Dominican Republic. She was raised in Pueblo Nuevo by Lidia and Francisco Peralta with her sister Josefina Peralta and her 4 brothers Francisco Peralta, Juan Peralta, Julio Peralta, and Ricardo Peralta. She was a loving mother to Ashley Sanchez Peralta and Dionis Sanchez Peralta. An amazing wife of 24 years to Dionicio Sanchez Rodriguez, and an amazing step mother to William Sanchez, Esmerlin Sanchez, Dhiandra Sanchez, and Alondra Sanchez. As well as a newly grandmother to Leiani Sanchez Diaz.

In the Dominican Republic she dedicated time to becoming a Firefighter, as well as her career in the medical field as a Doctor for 6 years and an Anesthesiologist for 3 and a half years. She then migrated to Brooklyn, New York in 1993. In the United States she was able to become a Medical Assistant and then continued to study and became an Anesthesiologist Technician.

Ana’s presence was felt wherever she was, her smile and laugh were contagious and the love she had for others was always felt. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, baking, gardening and crafting. She loved to decorate her home and try to make new recipes. The best daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. She was a warrior fighting a 10 year battle with cancer. She fought to keep her spirits high until the very end, always stating she was guided by God.

We are all comforted with the fact that she is now with God and finally at peace. We will all love and miss you.
