Ana A. Pineda

Ana A Feliz Cuevas viuda de Amado Pineda nació el Julio 12 1935 en Barahona, (la Perla del Sur) República Dominicana. Sus padres fueron Jose Altagracia Feliz y Martina Cuevas. Fue La 5ta de 8 hijos. A la tierna edad de 12 años perdió a su madre, y desde ese entonces se convirtió en una trabajadora y luchadora. Desde niña de trabajo en las fincas de café además de ser costurera. 
En 1953 a la edad de 18 años contrajo matrimonio con Amado quien fue el amor de su vida y juntos construyeron una familia de 7 hijos 
Angela, Rafa, Mari, Bitana, Jorge, Olga y Nelson. 

En 1970 Junto a su hermana menor migró a los Estados Unidos en busca de un mejor futuro para sus hijos. Como mujer independiente busco trabajo como costurera y aunque se enfrento con muchas tribulaciones logro su meta de traer a su familia. Entre 2-4 años después vivía con su esposo e hijos en Nueva York adonde llegó ser parte dueña de una factoría. Allá hicieron muchas bellas amistades y recuerdos. En el alto Manhattan permanecieron por más de vente años. 
Ana y Amado añoraban el campo y cuando visitaron a Rhode Island le gustó y decidieron mudarse para allá. Juntos fueron la fundación de la familia. Ana tenia el corazón más grande que el mar. Ella era devoción y cariño en estado de pureza; un amor desbordante, ilimitado e infinito. Sencillamente sin comparación. No hay recuerdos de Ana estando enojada, siempre buscando como ayudar, y ayudo a muchos sin pedir nada a cambio. Cambio muchas vidas. Ana era una mujer de fe, amante de Jehova y las escrituras de la biblia. Amo inmensamente, nunca amo a medias, ni con condiciones.
Después de la muerte de Amado, seguía siendo la fortaleza de la familia. Siempre amable, humanitaria y bondadosa. 
En 2008 Ana batalló y sobrevivió el cáncer. Años más tarde padeció de dementia el cual culminó en Alzheimer’s. Siempre alegre con su sonrisa  que llenada habitaciones y aunque la vida no siempre fue dulce, la dulzura en ella perduró hasta su último respirar. 
Ana (mama) sera siempre amada y recordada por sus hijos, por sus  23 Nietos; 
Edward, Rafael, Antony, Francis, Jackie, Julissa, Joana, Angel, Crystal, Georgina, Georgette, Marianna, Yelixa , Beker, Rafael, Danny, Austin, Georgie, Bryant, Jacarina, Mariana , Xavier y Travis
También será recordada por sus 32 Vis Nietos y 5 Tatara Nietos. Por sus 2 hermanas Dominga Feliz Cuevas, Dominicana Feliz Cuevas, hermano Rafael Feliz Cuevas, y sus Sobrinos/ Sobrinas quienes ella adoraba. 
Hoy ella la estrella más bonita en el cielo. La más grande de todas, aquella que naturalmente destaca por su belleza. Ella nunca morirá en nuestro corazones, pues su espíritu tiene el don de la eterna inmortalidad.

Ana A Feliz Cuevas widow of Amado Pineda was born on July 12, 1935 in Barahona, (the Pearl of the South) Dominican Republic. Her parents were Jose Altagracia Feliz and Martina Cuevas. She was the 5th of 8 children. At the tender age of 12 years old she lost her mother, and since then she became a hard worker and fighter. Since she was a child she worked in the coffee farms as well as being a seamstress. 
In 1953 at the age of 18 she married Amado who was the love of her life and together they built a family of 7 children 
Angela, Rafa, Mari, Bitana, Jorge, Olga and Nelson. 

In 1970, together with her younger sister, she migrated to the United States in search of a better future for her children. As an independent woman she sought work as a seamstress and although she faced many tribulations she achieved her goal of bringing her family to the United States. Between 2-4 years later she lived with her husband and children in New York where she became part owner of a factory. There they made many beautiful friendships and memories. They remained in upper Manhattan for more than twenty years. 
Ana and Amado longed for the country and when they visited Rhode Island they liked it and decided to move there. Together they were the foundation of the family. Ana's heart was bigger than the sea. She was devotion and affection in its purest state; an overflowing, boundless, infinite love. Simply beyond compare. There are no memories of Ana being angry, always looking to help, and she helped many without asking for anything in return. She changed many lives. Ana was a woman of faith, a lover of Jehovah and the scriptures of the bible. She loved immensely, she never loved half-heartedly, nor with conditions.
After Amado's death, she remained the strength of the family. Always gentle, caring and kind. 
In 2008 Ana battled and survived cancer. Years later she suffered from dementia which culminated into Alzheimer's. Always cheerful with her smile that filled rooms and although life was not always sweet, the sweetness in her endured until her last breath. 
Ana (mom) will always be loved and remembered by her children, by her 23 Grandchildren; 
Edward, Rafael, Antony, Francis, Jackie, Julissa, Joana, Angel, Crystal, Georgina, Georgette, Marianna, Yelixa, Beker, Rafael, Danny, Austin, Georgie, Bryant, Jacarina, Mariana, Xavier and Travis.
She will also be remembered by her 32 Vis Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. By her 2 sisters Dominga Feliz Cuevas, Dominicana Feliz Cuevas, brother Rafael Feliz Cuevas, and her Nieces/Nephews whom she adored. 
Today she is the most beautiful star in the sky. The biggest of all, the one that naturally stands out for her beauty. She will never die in our hearts, for her spirit has the gift of eternal immortality.
