Ana Piedad Almonte, 79, passed away peacefully at Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI on August 19, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Almonte was born on July 11, 1940 in Dominican Republic. She relocated to Rhode Island many years ago and made Rhode Island her new home.

She was the daughter of the late Rufino Almonte and Felipina Peralta.

Mrs. Almonte was a homemaker who cared for her family. She was a happy person who loved to make everyone smile.

She leaves behind Ramona Perez, Amarili Mendez, Ramon Rubio, Celeste Rubio, Delene Rosario, Jose Rosario, Martiri Rosario, Andres Rosario, Luicia Rosario and many other loving family and friends.
