Ana Carrion De Acosta Obituary

Ana Virginia Carrion de Acosta, 86 years old female of Providence, RI, passed away on January 10th, 2022, at the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones. 

Ana was born on May 5, 1935 in Santos Domingo, Dominican Republic. She was married to her late husband Ismael Acosta with whom she was married for 58 years. She had nine children: Daisy, Ercilia, Francisco, Agustin, Cruz, Placida, Jesus, Ana Maria and Jose Acosta. She had 27 grand children and 21 great grandchildren.

Ana came to the United States in 1995 to conquer the American Dream,  She lived in the Bronx, NY for 17 years . She moved to RI in 2010. She was a member of the Catholic Church where she served as a minister for many years,

Ana was a great mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Every where she went her presence was felt by her beautiful smile and her love for everyone. She loved cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Ana fought her battle with Cancer with a lot of faith, like a warrior until the end.  We find comfort in knowing that she is resting and peace . She will be greatly missed. 

You will forever be in our hearts mama!!

 

 

Ana Virginia Carrion de Acosta, 86 años de edad de Providence, RI falleció el 10 de Enero del 2022 en el conforte de su hogar rodeada por sus seres queridos.

Ana nació el 5 de Mayo, 1935 en Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana. Estuvo casada con su fallecido esposo Ismael Acosta por 58 años con quien tuvo 9  hijos: Daisy, Ercilia, Francisco, Agustin, Cruz, Placida, Jesus, Ana Maria, y Jose Acosta.  Ana tuvo 27 nietos y 21 biz nietos. 

Ana llegó a los Estados Unidos en el 1995 a conquistar el sueño Americano. Ana vivió en el Bronx, NY por 17 anos. Se mudo a Providence, RI en el 2010. Ella fue miembro de la Iglesia Católica donde sirvió como ministro por muchos años, 

Ana fue una gran madre, esposa, hermana, abuela, biz abuela y amiga. Donde quiera que ella iba su presencia era agradable, sentida por su sonrisa y amor hacia los demás. 

Ana batallo su guerra contra el Cáncer con mucha fe hasta el final, nunca perdió su fe en Dios. 

Tenemos el consuelo de que ella está descansando en paz. Será extrañada por todos sus familiares y amigos.
