Alex Bryant

Mr. Alex Bryant, 77, the son of the late Buddy Bryant and Viola Huges Bryant went quietly to sleep Friday, June 18, 2021, at Oak Hill Center, Pawtucket, RI.

Alex was born in Cross, South Carlonia, and received his education at Central High School in South Carolina.  In 1964 he moved to New York City where he lived for 10 years.  Later he relocated to Boston, Massachusetts where he worked for Gem Cast and where he eventually retired.  Alex was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and he served on the Usher Board.

Alex united in marriage with Mrs. Violet Bryant.  Which whom he was proceeded in death, as well as his parents – Buddy and Viola Bryant, one brother – Frank Huger, and one sister Lillie Mae Small.

Alex Leaves to cherish his memory two sisters – Miss Nellie Bryant and Miss Barbara Paugh of the Bronx, NY, four brothers – Lander J. (Joann) Bryant of New York City, Leon Bryant of Rhode Island, Sam Fisher of South Carolina, and Hamilton Bryant of Virgina, two stepson – Donald L. Hazard and Darren F. Mitchell of Rhode Island, one step-daughter – Denise Marseille of Rhode Island.  Alex also leaves a host of loving nieces, nephews, and friends, as well as a special friend – Miss Patricia Black of East Providence, RI.

He will be missed by all who loved him.
