Wade E Brown Sr. "Stevie", age 64, passed away peacefully November 26, 2019 at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence RI. He was born in Greensville South Carolina October 25, 1955 to Mary (Green) & John Brown. Stevie moved to Rhode Island at the age of 16 making Providence his new home. Years later he married Wanda (Perry) Brown, to this union 3 children were born Andre, Wade Jr. and Alexis.

Stevie's work ethics lead him to obtain several jobs across the years including KFC Providence RI, William M Davies Technical School, Lincoln RI as a janitor for many years. In his work transition he became employed at Bell Funeral Home, Inc in Providence, RI for many years as a driver and attendant until retirement. He was a part time van driver for Head Start at different sites in recent years in Providence, RI.

Stevie was a member of Otha Boone Lodge #931 I.B.P .O.E.W. Fraternal Order of Elks Prov RI tor 29 years. He served the seats of Treasurer, Chief Antler of the Past Exalted Ruler Council #14, Commander of A.L Clark & B. Rollins Police Unit Antler Guard Dept. Through hard work and dedication he received his highest honors in Elkdom as Past Grand Exalted Ruler.

Stevie was an excellent cook, one would say a Master Chef; He catered and cooked for many events across the years. He had a compassionate spirit, loved his soul music, a warm and giving heart always helping those in need.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Wanda Brown, (Son's) Andre & Wade Jr (daughter) Alexis, Providence RI. Sisters Delores Gibbons (James), Providence RI, Harriet Means, Gwen Hackney (Michael), Patsy and Cheryl Brown of Greenville SC. Brothers John Brown Sr (Kayla) Warwick RI, Jimmy New Hampshire, Companion Kathy Babb, Providence RI, (7) Grandchildren Jaden Brown, Jajuan & Jai'Ana McNeil Brown, McHale & McKye Mendes, McKenzie Ogundele and Dayvon Brown (2) Godchildren, Darinda N. Burgess & Courtney R. Threats. He was predeceased in death by his Brother Curt Brown. Rest Easy "Stevie B".

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
