Oxene Zephir

Oxene Zephir passed away unexpectedly  on the night of June 22, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI.  He was born in 1954 and raised in Haiti where he spent most of his life with his family  before moving to the United States.  Oxene was an admirable Christian who loved God and committed himself to the church. He was an active member of multiple groups in the church and enjoyed singing in the choir.  He always had a smile on his face that would radiate to those around him.  Oxene was a man with a caring heart who would do whatever he could to help others.  He loved watching soccer and basketball and playing with his grandchildren. Oxene was devoted to his family and will be deeply missed by his loving wife Gezula Zephir Toussaint, his four children Joanne Zephir, Alain Zephir, Jean Zephir, Alix St Franc, daughter-in-law Melanie St Franc his four grandchildren Sherbie St Franc, John St Franc, Jerry St Franc and Daisy Zephir, his three brothers, Ynatal Zephir, Becas Zephir, Roland Zephir and many other family members and friends.  He will be missed by all.
